This ring features an ethereal Banded Agate, lovingly procured by me in Tucson but originating from Brazil, in an area near to where my mother and sister were born. This is the third stone I’ve worked with from the area, and it is certainly as mesmerizing as the first.

This golden and grey hued stone is set in a Fine Silver bezel with a winter themed floral accent; the bezel is heavily textured and bright. The agate is backed with Sterling Silver on a 14Kt Yellow Gold Fill round band that would fit a US ring size 7.

The colors in the banded areas and foundation of the stone are matched in the tones of the Fine Silver and 14kt Gold and seem to shine brighter in varying levels of light, flashing white, gold, yellow, silver and grey. This ring was a joy to make and I hope to find another stone of this same level of beauty and quality to work with soon.
