• Hello. Bienvenidos. Tudo bem? I’m Cecilia - a first generation Latina born in the United States of America. I’m a polyglot and a lover of languages, travel, art, literature, symbology, food, reading and nature. As a child, I always thought I’d like to be an artist; as a grown woman, I am trying my best to approach sharing my love of jewelry as an art and not solely as a business. Where things come from matters to me and pieces that are unique and made with intention are what I always seek to procure, hand-make or fuse for you.

  • My studies in Catholic school, upbringing in a South American household, my time earning a Master of Arts in Modern & Classical Languages & Literatures, and experiences collecting tattoos while on the road all inform my taste and unique way of navigating the word. My career as an interpreter took me to many places far from home on a regular basis and travel allowed me the time to explore and collect little treasures here and there. Along the way I took a liking to collecting stones and cabochons which inspired me to take a silversmithing class here in Wichita in the early 2000s which has now blossomed into SANTA+CECILIA jewelry and Link Up w/ Santa Cecilia.

  • I am so honored that you have taken the time to engage with me. We all have an ability to fill the world with knowledge and love through our art, literature, our skill, our time, so many things, but most precious of all things we symbolize through our adornments. Those special trinkets and things that identify us and our history for posterity, to some folks are “just jewelry”! But it means so much more than simply what you see. I’ve had a passion for jewelry of all kinds for as long as I can remember. If I see a piece that catches my eye, I’m immediately drawn to it, have to fight the urge to touch and try it on and immediately want to learn! Who made it, when, how?

vintage jewelry + modern appeal

Jewelry contains secret histories, each piece, when worn, reminds us of the emotions and joy we felt on first possessing it and holding it in our hands.
